Design Characteristics
AZ double valve combination type DBBC. AZ flange plug valve combination with double shut-off. In open position, the medium is routed through both valves by means of the “L” plugs via the pipe bends. In closed position, the intermediate space can be relaxed / flushed / pressure-monitored. In this position, no product that is upstream of the entry valve can get into the line downstream of the outlet valve, and vice versa (so-called “material separation”). Both valves are activated simultaneously via a bearing supported gear drive, either manually with hand wheel or pneumatically/electrically with a 180° drive.
